Essential Duties:
Work closely with Plant Management to assure adherence to schedules, efficient use of personnel skills, production machinery and other resources.
Instruct employees in departmental safety and job specific procedures.
The skills to lead and manage a team effectively.
The ability to motivate the team to succeed in a positive manner.
The ability to take responsibility for both the success and failure of his or her team.
Commitment to your team by embracing professional development, passion, perseverance, and prioritization to meet the needs of the company.
The ability to learn to read and understand blueprints.
Knowledge of structural steel materials, welding, layout, and fabrication, machine operation and material handling.
Knowledge of industrial equipment and maintenance.
The ability to work a flexible schedule.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred but not required.
Prior experience preferred but not required.
